A Reflection on SMC100「聖心之旅」2025

 

今年九月，堂區舉辦了建堂一百周年的朝聖之旅，主題為「尋找聖心」，前往法國和意大利，走訪多個聖地。以下是一位團友分享他這趟靈性之旅的反思，中英對照，各有神韻。

When we arrived at the Abbey of the Three Fountains, I felt something different about this place.  It was not a glamorous church like the others.  Unlike the Vatican or the other three major basilicas, it was not filled with tourists and pilgrims.  It looked a bit deserted and brought one back in time to the suffering church of the 1st Century.

To the right of the entrance was a painting of Paul being beheaded at this very site, while to the left of the entrance was Peter being crucified upside down, as he conceived his unworthiness to be crucified like Christ.

Neither of them ran away from their vocation.  They left their homeland and did not seek a better life in Rome for.  They were uncertain about their destiny, but they discerned to follow the path of the Cross.  It is a path of humility, brokenness, loneliness, suffering and sacrifice out of Love.

Until today, countless faithful have followed in their footprints, walking the Way of the Cross to quench the thirsts of Jesus.

In the crib;

In the exile of Egypt;

In the hidden life at Nazareth;

In his inability to make people understand him;

In the desertion of his apostles;

In the dislike of the scribes and Pharisees;

In the terrible sufferings of his Passion and death;

In his permanent state of humility in the tabernacle.”

SMC100聖心之旅的反思

 

九月份，在金神父的帶領下，我們參加了SMC100前往法國和羅馬的朝聖團。當我們到達三噴泉修道院時，我覺得這個地方有些不同。它不像其他教堂那樣金碧輝煌。它沒有梵蒂岡和其它三大主教座堂那樣擠滿了遊客和朝聖者。它看起來有點冷清，把人們帶回了教會初期受苦的時空。

入口的右邊是保祿在這裡被斬首的一幅畫，入口左邊是伯多祿被倒掛釘在十字架，因為他認為自己不配像基督一樣被釘在十字架上。

他們沒有逃避自己的聖召。他們離開家鄉，沒有為更好的生活而去羅馬。他們不確定自己的命運，但辨別了遵循十字架的苦路。這是一條出於愛而謙卑、破碎、孤獨、痛苦和犧牲的道路。

直至今日，無數信徒一直跟隨他們的腳印走上十字架之路，為耶穌解渴。

 

「我們看到耶穌的謙卑

在馬槽裡：

在埃及的流亡中；

在拿撒勒的隱秘生活中；

在祂無法讓人理解他時；

在祂的使徒棄權時；

在文士和法利賽人的厭惡中；

在祂受難和死亡的可怕痛苦中；

在聖體櫃中，呈以衪永久謙卑的狀態。」
